I never knew Earnest Hemmingway but I did know his widow Mary and his son Jack. Some of us locals used to gather at Earnest’s Mansion in Ketchum Idaho on Thanksgiving afternoon for an impromptu trap shoot off the hill. Earnest spent most of his Ketchum days hunting and fishing in near by Silver Creek. He loved upland game bird hunting as well as duck hunting and there you could do both at the same time with a good dog. During his early days he ocasionally occupied a cabin near Trail Creek on the edge of Ketchum. I have spent many evenings with friends at that same cabin and so this premier unit is named for that cabin. The Hemingway Cabin”

  THE HEMINGWAY CABIN

• This unit comes completely assembled ready to occupy. Just plug it into 110VAC.
• Features a heated cast cement floor with a thermostat heat control for winter.
• Has a thermostatically operated cooling fan that comes on when needed to empty heat out in summer.
• Measures roughly 4 ½ feet by 7 ½ feet.
• A rear roof panel opens to give access for cleaning.
• Has a cedar lined bed area.
• Insulation above and below is mildew and insect resistant.
• All electrics are on a G F I (ground fault interrupter) system for everyone’s safety.
• Features exterior eve lighting for a distinctive glow by night.
• Lower components are pressure treated for long life.
• Six legs are provided for areas where you might want to elevate the entire unit slightly above the ground.(Installation required)
• The roof shingles and trim are Western Red Cedar because it is the best.
• Standard exterior sealer shade is clear, however we can match your home color if you like.
• Comes with standard vinyl storm door that swings back out of the way in summer if you want.
• Windows are of LEXAN XL 10® which is 250 times stronger than glass.
